I recently purchased RVL8 Blunts with non release receptor bindings. I'm new to skiboarding and I'm wondering if it's hard to get up on the edges? Would I benefit from a receptor 10 mm lift kit to help with better carving?

Adding to BadWolf's comments there are also degrees of how much you are "on edge" when riding boards. With really wide boards, especially in soft snow, many riders prefer a soft edge with more of a surfy feel as opposed to a carved hard edge. Give em a try and don't be hung up on locking into a hard edge.Boards:
2016 Spruce tuned Head Jr. Caddys - 131cm
2013 Spruce "CTS" 120s
2010 Spruce "Yellow/Red" 120s
2018 Spruce "CTS" Crossbows - 115cm
2016 RVL8 Spliffs - 109cm
2008 RVL8 Revolt "City" - 105cm
2017 RVL8 Sticky Icky Icky - 104cm
2011 Defiance Blades - 101cm

Still snowing in Scranton. Going on 6 hours now.
