Ahh, if life were so easy. Actually, here hospitals are pretty cheap. It's semi-socialized. As long as you have a full time job your employer is required to issue you a health card which covers 70% of your bill and there are a number of secondary .....
hm pretty interesting concept, in canada we have universal health care but we are slowly moving towards a two tier health care system, where if you want to and have the money you can go to a private clinic or hospital.

i personally am not too fond of that, but its still too early to see how this new private sector will impact the public health care system. the worst that could happen is the deterioration of the public sector, due to better paying jobs in the public. on the other side, it might free up the somewhat crowded public sector.

      Roussell,

Being American, this is the only system of this type I know. Here, there are private doctors that are part of the system and those who are not. You are not required for example to go to certain hospitals for treatment. You can call a private practice and just ask if they accept the government health card. Not the slightest idea what the rules are surrounding that of course. In my experience, absolutely all of the private family doctors are part of the system, most of the specialists like skin, thyroid, diabetic, etc. are also part. The only doctors I've experienced hit or miss with are dentists and sports therapists/chiropractors. Some are and some aren't.

Hah, you're a lucky guy then mahatma. My insurance covers like 80% or something, up to $1000 a year. Not a lot. It cost me over $120 out of pocket for them to x-ray my foot when I was run off the road on my motorcycle. I can only afford one of those a year!

As far as the suit getting hot. YES. Luckily the skate parks here are under freeway overpasses. It's usually shaded.

            lawl.

I picked out the skates i would buy, if I get new ones.
for some reason I can't remember their name, cult 8's i think.
They are the #1 selling pair on RW, and after reading the reviews, figured that they would be the best option for me.

                I have some cult 8's.
Nice boot (as far as I can tell, my first) but the liners hurt my ankle to the point that I couldn't skate, so I had to get some new ones (I have weird ankles) I like the skates.

Yea, I gave em a chance, just had a nasty pressure point. All's well now.

I'll see if I can't get some footage this summer. Not that I'm any good, just started last fall.
