Nice run! I'm glad there's no shame in riding with different graphics on a set of boards. May be riding on 2016/2019 Spliffs by the end of the season; one edge on my 2019s is cracked with a significant core shot next to it.

Haven't even pulled my Playmakers out this season. They'd do well in current conditions but it's pretty much instant rock board status for any pair that comes out, especially on steeper runs. New Spliffs haven't been out either; I've risked my DLPs for a couple of runs but I have one Dave's Face board as a backup to my main pair.

Love the short video - -and since my first tours at Shredfest - -buried past the knee in deep powder on my sunken Line MNPs, I saw a pro crew shred by on RVL8 KTPs, DLPs and Blunt XLs - -now the biggest one was Kurt and I decided right then that if they float Kurt, then a KTP would float me!! Stiff and my 100 cm length plus width and camber. And they can use the bindings Set Back!!
Next I said --What is the BOSS riding? Since I had worked on the Flow binding effort since 2014 - -it was clear my path was towards the Holy Grail -- the Head Speed disc System.
The BOSS rides my orange strapped version - -and now -So do I!! He on Playmakers (or any board in the RVL8 lineup!) I am on 2011 KTPs, but in less than 5 minutes can change to 2018 Rockered Condors for powder and easy slarving on the longest, widest, full rockered Skiboard Or lock in the 88 cm, skinny easy turning Line Jedi s on manmade SoCal insta snow.
Now I may be one of the only Soft boot Binding fans that also can Snowboard - -so with a pair of Speed discs - I can switch to my K2 Snowboard - -but WHY?

          RVL8 Skiboards RULE!!!

Since I Snowboard, I am aware of the flex that can be a plus on a big wide slab, standing sideways with both feet locked in place. I made adjustments from a hard ski boot and never selected my Snowboard Boots by hardness - -only Price!! $100 for 1 year rental Head boots in great condition at my local 2nd Wind Sports shop.
Once I am strapped in to the Head Snowboard bindings with my leash on -- I don't worry about releasing or tightening straps --But always check straps a few times a day and after a fall -- I have released the top strap under snow when rising against the release buckle.
Let the flex be your friend --feel more like in-line skates or even a skateboard -- use the riser and entire instep from the ball to the heel to get the uphill skiboard on edge - -especially on the wider boards --
Enjoy walking up from lower parking lots and stairs to the lift - -like at Heavenly --- and be less fatigued when you stroll into the bar~!!

I will have my old Sims Soft boot Mediums and my Head Large for test runs at Shredfest 2024 - -along with my Ski Boots, Line MNPs and even 68 cm Big Foots - -hit me up for a Soft Boot trial --

was on Big Foots, Cannons, Klimax Redline, 98 Line MNPs, Line ff cam and bomber bindings - new boards: RVL8 2015 SII, 2011 KTP --24 yrs non released - -skiboarding til 2050!!
