  • Midwest Meet 2015 Edit

Here's the edit from our recent trip to Mount Bohemia. We had 14 riders from 7 states - some as far as West Virginia and Pennsylvania!

It's always hard to decide what to keep and what to and what to cut. Here are just some of the highlights from another awesome trip!

We'll be headed back to Bohemia toward the end of February. Join us if you can!

    Pure awesomeness!

I updated the first post in the MM6.2 thread with the dates and the attendees that I know of thus far. It would be great to have some new people join us again this year like Jake and John did for the 5.2 meet.
RVL8 Condors - The Flex will be with me, always...until I break them

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming... "WOW! WHAT A RIDE!!"

Great job on the edit Courtney! I thought that sounded like Doomtree.

Who'd we have from West Virginia?

Zing! Things have been a bit less chaotic this time around. The second meet is where I get really bad at quick turn around lol

I've watched this several times now, and I'm picking up things that I missed in earlier viewings. Please note that at about 1:35 I am carrying a stick on my left board while going through the bottom of Haunted Valley. I also hadn't caught the audio clip of myself that's in with some of the end slides, "we'll try to keep you in one piece." That's basically my motto for Bohemia. The very end is pretty awesome too.

This just keeps me pumped for the 6.2 meet.

I thought that stick was pretty funny too.

I had hoped to include Jack's "if I have to bail on shredfest Greco is going to cry," but there was too much crunchy snow sound on top of it haha

After showing the edit to a bunch of friends and family, the feedback I got always included "don't show this to your mom!"

Sure enough, my mom saw it "thanks to Facebook" and she calls me pleading for my retirement from all outdoor winter related activities!

I'm pretty sure she said something on the lines of "skiboards and heavy metal are the devil's work..." :P

And all this time I thought it was because of resistance to corrosion and strength to weight ratio :P
