That was an amazingly long run. And the upper portion of it was so wide. Would be cool to ski someplace like that.

I know. I'm wowed every time I watch a clip from France, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, any of the European resorts. The runs are so long and wide, and the mountains are so massive and breathtaking.

Are villages there in Italy connected together with ski lifts and runs?

              Yes.

Google for Sella Ronda and you'll find a day long trip in the Dolomites connecting many ski areas and some villages.

I have skied the Sella Ronda in a day on Salomon Snowblades pre R8. It's quite a trip. The scenery is beautiful and there are many linked villages. The problem is you can see so many side runs as you go round and get tempted to branch out and try them. Then there are the mountain restaurants, man they slow you down. Go with good friends who can hold their drink

I'm gonna get 45 days on the mountain this year if it kills me!

It looks like you are new to the forum. Welcome!

You are so lucky to have such great mountain resorts.

I'm going to definitely check out those places. Thanks!
