Excellent. As good a demonstration of the right way to skiboard as I have ever seen. And nobody looks like a gorilla! I would enjoy skiboarding with you sometime

Great footage - thanks for posting. The angles you shot at were terrific - the side angles really show your technique (which looks great) and how the skiboards work on the snow. You should consider putting a review of the Marauders up on the "Skiboarding Gear" section.

St. Anton looks like a huge resort. Some parts of the run looked quite narrow and like a highway with all of the people you had to weave through! Hope your trip was excellent.

Glad to see I am not the only one riding summit marauders . These are my go to Skiboards for the carving ability . Probably going to do the zero Deg base grind for better carving on east coat ice.

Have you tried the Sherpas yet?
I do it because I can.
I can because I want to.
I want to because you said I couldn't.

                Thank you for the feedback.

I shot some instructional footage today on my mobile but it didn't come out as well as I would've liked it:

                http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5UXJWeFmEo

too much software zoom - BUT it is enough I think to get the gist of what I'm all about, and I linked to it from this instructional post on my blog: http://goo.gl/0cAC1

I took the Contour into the park today, that was fun. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Z0a7XnBNRU

I've only seen 1 or two others here on skiboards the entire time. A few on short skinnys but they don't really look like skiboards to me. Need to venture out to the larger Arlberg region like Lech, Zurs and beyond.

The bindings were set by Doc, I presume normally mounted.

Of course the Austrians take their skiing very seriously and have a long tradition of being at the forefront of it, and state that this region is the birthplace of the modern ski technique and has the oldest ski club in the world. http://www.onthesnow.com/news/a/55239 They put on a ski show the other night to demonstrate its evolution: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbZApf3mZpc

It's hard to tell for sure in the videos, but there have been a couple times where it looks like they are set back a bit.

Really appreciate the compliments. I was just thinking that I should have been on skiboards 10 years ago. It feels so natural to be on them.. hmmm

Next steps for me is getting some park footage (getting the camera out on the boom in the air) and I also plan to construct a custom pair of heart carvers... I contacted Differences (http://en.differences.li/skis-home) and made contact with the head person Nachbaur Rainer, and he said he could create a new mold if I wanted to design a new skiboard... and I do. Something a little thinner in the waist than the Marauder, and waist set back, slightly longer (around 135) and fatter at the front. Blue and white cloud design with red line running through the middle. I was thinking of doing this for next season: anyone else interested or have ideas for a design.

Some further instructional footage here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVrwBSu07KU

Also, I saw some crazy stuff the last few days in the park.. I caught a lot on film, but Skiboards due to their low swing weight should really be everywhere in the park. Just a matter of time I think.

Shredfest? Sound interesting.. what/where is it?

Form... you can practice on inline skates... the best areas are large car parks empty of cars and on a slight angle.

I "wasted" 3 years learning how to snowboard and getting good at it only to find skiboarding that was fun right from the start and had a much easier learning curve so I know how you feel.....
