    I think we all tend to favor one side/one direction more than the other when we first start, I also prefer turning left for the same reasons you do

      I agree with everyone else about the speed. I remember when I first started that i feared going fast and not being able to stop. Once i was confident in that ability, i was able to start going faster, and that's when everything started coming together. i learned to bend my knees and effectively use my edges! Its about balance!

      I think once her confidence builds, she'll have no problem with the rest!
