My most comfortable length has always been 99cm, but set back (Snowblades/Elan Freelines).

Since riding centre-mounted, I like that extra bit of length up front, so the 103cm MaryJane was the board for me, and the only one I've owned.

Having said that, my second set of boards will be either Allz 94 or BWP 98. I need to try this skate feel that y'all speak of!

I went from skinny salomon snowblades to the KTP, and I have to say, I didn't find the width much of a challenge. They feel really natural on my feet, and I'm much more confident with the quality of the KTPs. Getting used to the width took less than 1 run on the bunny hill. The only real challenge was adjusting my skating on the flats.

I love my KTPs. It took a day to get used to them but now they are the board I keep going back to. I'll have to say the condors are right behind them though. I am 6'1" 220 though so it's somewhat relative to my size too I'm sure. To smaller riders I'm sure, like Issac said, they feel like boats but to me they are perfection.

I think the way you ride might have more to do with how you handle KTP width more than physical size does.. I'm probably near the same size as Isaac (probably shorter) and I love them.

I came over from the Salomon 89's. and now have the Revolts. I love them.

                  I look forward to riding & acquiring the BWP's & the KTP's.

I'm not a big guy, 5'9, 138lbs, so I think the BWP's will be swell enough!

KTP's for that powder stuff we all like !

I don't know how I feel about 120's, though I was gonna buy a pair from someone on this board.

I love my BWPs. 98cm is a great length for me. I'm short, my boards are short, and my attention span is short. Although, I would like to try a pair of 105s and see how the feel.

It'd be cool if there was some kind of borrowing program in place, where we could all try different boards (for a small donation to SBOL/season). Get the boards in the mail, try them, then ship em somewhere else when you're done.

There's a lot of people (myself included) that want to try many different sizes, but it just isn't feasible. I guess meet-ups are a good idea (keep your binding, swap your boards) but for people like me in Toronto I'm just not close to anyone.

thats actually a pretty cool idea! It can be sort of a "Credit on file" thing. 2 week max holding. Maybe we can get g to line out a plan for this next season! 1 or 2 pair of each boards for the loaner program?

                            Thats some good thinking bro!!!

Like Netflix for skiboards. If SBOL ran it, it could be a demo program to help people decide which boards they want to buy. You join the club for a fee, try the boards you like, and maybe get a little discount when you purchase. Sounds good on paper.
