Well, I'll say this - skiboards certainly give women an excuse to talk to you. Now, I already have the very best this world has to offer so the rest really don't stand a chance - they simply pale in the harsh light of comparison. But, if a gal is looking to draw your attention on the slopes being on skiboards is an advantage. They have a cheap reason to talk to you.

If any gal strikes up a conversation with you about your boards and you do not offer to get to the bottom of the run and adjust the bindings so she can give them a go then what you suffer from is an intelligence issue - not an attraction issue. Oh yes, make no mistakes - if she was asking about your boards you were on interview. You just weren't bright enough to figure it out. Well, unless it was a friend of your mother.

Here's how you pass the interview - She says whatever - you say "Oh, I love 'em. Why don't we get down to the repair stand and I'll adjust the bindings for you and you can give them a go. You have to experience them." So, you say to me - Yea Mahatma, but she's a snowboarder. Mahatma says you still don't get it. You are on interview. You offer to escort her to the rental area for some boots. Put a crowbar in your wallet and rent them for her. You cover this with how you are sure she will love skiboarding as much as you. She just needs to give them a try. Now, to keep it all together you will either need to rent snowboard boots to use her gear or some "blades" to stay with her. If you rent blades you are showing your intelligence. Because after a few runs you'll need to get a cup of coffee (indoors) and explain the differences. Don't focus on the testosterone, performance bullshit. Focus on the quality. Explain the differences with performance as subtext. Emphasize how they are cutting edge technology. On and on. Unless you are like me and a snowboarding God. Then you should show how versatile you are. If you can't get to lunch and then to the end of the ski day and then to a date - I can help there, too. But, for a fee.

Man, do I have to do everything for you guys.

I have to weigh in on this. I am no longer a single man but yes being a pro skiboarder has had its advantages in the past. especialy when you actually have your name on skiboards. I mean hell none of us are tiger but I always did well especially when i would travel. Romania for instance was pretty good to me. And being a pro skiboarder and on the beaches of florida wasnt so bad either. But let me tell you nothing compared to being the kids photographer at killington and all the semi single moms and divorced cougers were alot of fun at 22 years old. I never even got that much tail bartending!!!!
                            live it, love it,rip it!!
