Is it time to brig this up again? We tried get one going some years ago, but it did not work out.

Now that I practically live just below the slopes, I have pretty good insight into what can be arranged, including hotels, transport etc.

Best weeks still remain last week January or first week March. When I say week I really mean something like Thursday - Saturday in the aforementioned weeks.

    Would there be any takers?
Resurrecting this with a poll to hear how people feel about it, as I think we're growing in numbers on this side of the Atlantic, but it's a bummer that we don't run into each other on the slopes ...

I voted for Andorra, not becasue I live here, but in terms of cost it will be cheaper than French/Swiss alps. Italy, of course, is also a value-for-money option.

Any area chosen, should have a local skiboarder(s) which can act as a guide/navigator around the area.

(However, it this does work out, a rotation between different areas would be better.)

        Possibly go for 2 weeks.

Liz and Jack June may be interested.
        Possibly Marianne.

Let's talk about it when I see you in person next week.

I would be absolutely down for this if I can afford it (and if study allows). Otherwise, I'll just stick with my students association cheap wintersport, but I'd definetely go when I have finished my studies in a few years!!

I would suppose most people are price conscious these days. We'll definitely look for the most reasonable options once we settle on a resort and a period that would fit as many as possible
