Opening Day at Heavenly -2020 with Covid Restrictions.

My wife and I were at Heavenly for opening day today . Covid restrictions in place . You need to make reservations. Pass holders only . Must wear masks and chairlift loading restrictions . No indoor dining at all. Tram has open windows and very limited number of passengers. But snow was great and for the first time in a decade the California side opened first with Heavenly's signature Ridge run open with beautiful views of the lake. The reason is that most folks go up the Gunbarrel chair to access the mountain which allows open air seating vs the Gondola which is the only way up to the Nevada side of the mountain early season. Even though there is limited guests with reservations the lift lines are very long because of the limited loading of chairs.
