Got up to squaw today for the opening day of my skiboard season. Squaw got a good dumping on the upper mountain from last week's storm but only had two main lifts open , Gold coast and Emigrant ... but no problem , Squaw being squaw allows plenty of climbing access to get the goods. In some respect the limited lift openings allowed the snow in the climb accessed parts of the mountain to remain really nice and not too disturbed . I especially love my Spliffs for this kind of hoof for the goods riding , light weight and easy to fit on my pack . and very nice on the way down in natural off piste snow

First climb was up a trail called to an area called " Mainline Pocket"

Snow coming down was nice wind packed snow with some soft on top .. .
Second climb is up to the top of Siberia lift which will be open tomorrow and groomed tonight , today the whole Siberia bowl was ungroomed and only open to those who wanted to make the hike up to the top ...
    On the climb up ..

I love natural ungroomed snow and the stuff was uber fun today especially with no crowds on these climb only accessed slopes ..
Here is looking back up after making the descent down Siberia bowl ..
