I still believe short and super fat is the way to go. The blunts changed my opinion on rocker vs. camber, however, the rocker/camber/rocker did not change my opinion on either previous style.

Simply rockered boards are 1000 times more playful, in my opinion, and you get that surfy feeling all day. That was my appeal to the initial Blunts, and I took them everywhere on any mtn, any conditions.
Oh, I see. You want rocker with zero camber and not a combination of both. Sounds like you love(ed) the Blunts. Are you still riding a pair? It's odd how we were all crazy in love with the Blunts when they first came out. There was so much excitement over the shorty fatties, but we quickly fell out of love the following season when the next best thing was introduced (the XLs). Then we did it to a lesser degree for the Spliffs, and then the Ickys. We sure are a fickle bunch.

Or maybe it's genuine progress. I rode the Stickies and XLs back to back for a morning last week at Xscape and was amazed at how much I preferred the Stickies even though the XLs are one of my all time favourite boards. Maybe searching for the 'perfect' skiboard is like searching for the perfect bike saddle, a personal but impossible quest lol

I unfortunately have broken all my blunts, and xls, a total of 2 pairs of blunts, and 4 pairs of XLs. I would love to be riding them still, but cant keep paying for new ones, Greco did help me for the first pair of each board, but i paid full price after that, i have been hesitant since, even while pushing the brand like crazy. Alan and I will be putting out some videos this year, to show that what I do does not break boards, crappy built boards (despite their great dimensions) when put to the test breaks them. Thats why we just wanted a thinker board. Apparently it costs jeff 8-10 thousand dollars to put some extra layers on the XLs.

Fickle, hahaha, thats the term i use for women!!! 😆
