  • Where is Mike Nick Today?

By complete random chance I came across a quote from Mike Nick, skiboarding pioneer and multi-time X-Games competitor and medalist, on the Renown ski website. So, I started wondering where is Mike Nick today? Well, in Burlington, VT and recently departed from Orage after a long career in the ski industry. Worked with Renown ski founder on marketing and sales. Renown is based in Burlington and has a high-end ski with some cool non-Newtonian polymer enhanced skis.

http://www.mike-nick.com/proskier/ - his website with some interesting historical information from his skiing and ski industry career. Scroll through the images of photos, magazine articles, etc and you will see quite a few skiboard shots in there.

https://www.linkedin.com/in/mikenick - he is a sales and marketing pro who spent a long time at Line and Orage and is doing his own thing now.

Vintage Mick Nick edit. Keep in mind the era this was recorded in - some wild stuff I think for time.

It is interesting what pages from online retailers are still out there and accessible via Google. 2 Mike Nick skiboard pages and what I think was the first full size twin tip he moved to, which had his name on it.
