  • How Fast Did You Skiboard? - 2017

I believe our annual fastest skiboarder challenge has fallen prey to administrative tape, and the rules are still under review from the International Committee. So here is the thread where you can post your exploits on the slopes. There are no rules and no divisions, just tell us what you did, on what, how and where. No need to post an app screen shot, but a picture of you or your set up would be nice. All speeds and all equipment are welcome. Obviously we are thinking of skiboards, longboards and Jr skis, but if you want to tell us how fast you went on your skis, snowboards, ski bikes or even skates, that would be cool to. Use any app you like, we trust you!

This is not a competition, but a record of epic achievements. No prizes, but maybe we'll make some awards at the end of the season.

I'll make the first post as an example of the format.
    Just these, nothing else !

Nah! The commissioner of the challenge is just lazy (and busy trying to buy a property). If there is a desire to run the challenge again I would be happy to start it back up for the 2016/17 season. One condition --- no complaints about age or ski length from two certain riders in the Western US .... you know who you are!

I don't think you want the opinion of the former Commissioner of Commite du Skiboard Rapid on this speed post. Every time I see a SkiTracks posting that has a long flat runout at the end I have to ask "Was the app left running while you drove home and is this your car's speed?"

I think the OP was intending to say old Line Bindings on RVL8 Revolts. BadWolf sample template post had Boards + Binding set-up.

Old line bindings on revolts. Long runout is the last run back to the base 3miles and max of 44mph.
The max speed was an earlier run on 44degree slope.

Yes, the binding/board combo make sense.

I hope to be able to respond with a run of my own within the next few weeks.
