I spotted a rider on what looked like 2013 Condors using a soft boot set-up at Bear Creek on 31-Dec-2016. Saw this person a few times coming down but did not get to speak with him/her. Not many people on shorties out this year and first RVL8 boards spotted there this year.

Shortie sightings have been rare for me too. I saw two guys on what looked like 540 boards with softboot bindings at Big Boulder on Friday 12/30. Never caught up with them. Other than these riders I haven't even seen anyone on blades or any other shorties. While at Zao Onsen there were lots of people on "fun-skis" which is what the Japanese call ski blade style skis, did not see any proper ski boards while I was there. Japan maybe a great untapped market for skiboards. Lucky to see more than two other ski boarders for the entire the season in Australia.Spruce Ospreys 130cm
