  • Board stiffness

I have owned four boards the summit alpine woodies, summit custom 110, summit jades, and now a pair of blunts. I would list them in that order of stiffness. Those of you that have been riding revel 8 boards what do you rate the blunts. Hard, medium, or soft.

It's really hard comparing the actual stiffness of boards when they have different lengths, widths and rocker/camber profiles. The footprint of the binding and how it attaches to the board also affects the flex. I can't comment on the Woodies, but based on my riding experience, here is my take on the other three boards.

Jades, very stiff, even stiffer than the KTPs and Slapdashes, and they are stiff!

    Custom 110s, medium to stiff

Blunts, soft, maybe the softest feeling boards I've ridden, zero camber and rocker has to contribute to that.
    Just these, nothing else !
