  • Revel8's spotted at Snow Valley (Barrie) today!

Today at Snow Valley (Barrie), my wife spotted someone with some Revel8 boards while I was away on another run.

Was it anyone here on this forum?? (Saturday Jan 29, 2011!)

Wasn't me. But maybe soon we'll run into each other up there - you'll recognize me on my KTPs
Do you have a season pass @ snow valley?
The prices looks comparable to that of Horseshoe valley and blue mountain. Although Blue mountain is a lot bigger, isn't it? (I'm just assuming it is, based on popularity)

I'm a season's pass holder at Blue. I've not skiied much else in Ontario (at least that's worth mentioning). If you can make a 5x7 work for you (ie, ski during the week, or on weekend nights) there's nothing even close from the other places as it'll cost you around $175 if you order early enough.

Yeah, the early bird price is amazing. I'll be all over that next year!
For the rest of this season I'll likely just go with the 2-day lift tickets though.

Blue is definitely way bigger than Snow Valley, but it's too far away to head up there that often. Snow Valley is quite accessible for us weeknights after work. Both places' early bird prices are about the same. We've already used our Snow Valley season passes at least 5 times this season so far.

Nonetheless we still go to other resorts for variety. We're heading up to Blue the weekend of Mar 4-6 (got us a Village suite)

Horseshoe doesn't seem too bad; it's only 7 extra minutes of driving compared to snow valley, according to google maps.

Yeah, we might get a seasons pass to Horseshoe next season. I also love Mount St Louis-Moonstone, but they don't offer night skiing.
