Yeah, things like "most snowfall in 55 years" are being thrown around in the news around Vancouver. Preeeetty stoked for that.

Yep, the predictions here are for mucho precipito. I also have been told by the highest authority (my ancient, farmer neighbor who has a Farmers Almanac) that this year will be cold with a ton of precipitation. Save your strength boys and girls. You're going to need it. Click your heels 3 times and repeat after me - I will buy a season pass this year, I will buy a season pass this year, I will buy a season pass this year.....

well , like CAN says , maybe those in the So Cal or New Mexico should hold on that season pass . check out the second link I have in the first post , . southern locations may be in for a drought year ... this is a pattern way favoring those in the northern locations .....

"As for our neighbors up north, my research indicates B.C. areas such as Whistler and Fernie may be favored. Should we get a visit to Bellingham on the book? Probably.

Farther south, say around New Mexico and So Cal, Joel says La Niña can make things dryer. In my reading, I’ve even seen the word “drought” crop up in relation to those areas and their influence from La Niña.

As for us here in Colorado, Joel says we’re in the middle of the trends so our northern mountains might get more snow, and southern ranges such as the San Juans may get less. "

Indeed. That should make the drive to Bohemia even more worth it.

Looks like those of us in PA can look forward to "battle zone" conditions, whatever that means, lol.
