  • HDPE boxes

    i actually learned something useful in school today... HDPE, the plastic white stuff most boxes are made out of is very accessible...milk jugs are made of it. Does anyone know anyway that i could turn milk jugs into a slide-able surface? I thought of melting it down but thats dangerous i think. Also thought of getting squares and liquid nailing them on a box. Good idea? Bad idea? other ideas?

    I know that you can buy sheets of HDPE for relatively cheap. I've never used it (both my rails are pvc), but I imagine it would be pretty easy to counter-sink some screws into it and make a box out of it.
