Today was probably the last sunny day with a high near 80.
So I DPS treated a pair of black & white Blunts that I plan on using with snowboard boots.
It was an interesting process.
I let both parts cure in full sun for 2 hours each and finished it off with cork.
It looks pretty good if I do say so myself.

I got to try my Blunts with self applied DPS. The glide was fantastic. Noticeably better than the shop applied DPS on my Sherpa's (which is still pretty darn good). I suspect that the shop did not apply as much product as I used. I'm temped to apply a second coat of DPS to my Sherpas this next summer. I know you're not supposed to need to do a second application. But, I would like for my Sherpas to glide like my Blunts. Picking the kits up on fleabay makes it a tolerable risk (money wise).

Same results for me. I've applied DPS last summer on a brand new pair of LE125 that have never been waxed before, went out like 3 days in late December on them, and everyday the feeling was that of a freshly waxed pair, and the glide was just great.
