  • FS or Trade 2009 ALPs close to new

    --- SOLD ---

I've settled on mostly rockere boards, so I'm trimming my quiver of others that I don't get much usage.
These were bought new and I rode them for maybe 4 hours total over two days, so state us till quite close to new, a few cosmetic chips on the tops, no problems with the bases.

These are some older pics, I'll add newer ones if there's interest.

EU/UK preferred, as these boards are hard to get this side of the Atlantic. 200 eur plus shipping

Open to trades as well, thinking especially about the Spruce Crossbows.

Tops have very few chips, one I can clearly see, but all are very minor.
Bases have maintenance wax on them, but I don't remember getting any significant traces, as I said, had used them just for a few hours

Do these have a softer flex than the current year DLPs? Or is it just a different graphic?

Not sure about that, I remember reading several threads on the forum concerning the stiffness of different models that went through changes over the years, to my knowledge these are certainly not the "soft", 2007 edition Alps. I think I've read something about a "medium" flex version, before they settled on the probably current stiffness, it might be the 2009 production year, but I'm not sure. These 2009 edition you'll find them sometimes referenced as the "AlpDors" because of the Condors misprint, or as Rhino Alps for the same reason.

Some threads that I could find now that might shed some light are these :but I clearly remember there were other, longer ones on this flex topic.

In the product description page usually it's mentioned the "composition" of the boards, as in 1-2-3 layers of bi-axial, tri-axial fiberglass, but it's no longer there for these older models.

these boards are the 2 layer which is just slightly softer. saying that i rode these along with my Dave Face ones and the difference is not noticeable at all. I minorly noticed it. i am 300lbs and flex boards pretty good. i don't know if i noticed because i knew the difference in construction or not. if I didn't know that these were 2 and the others 3, i would have not felt the difference.

Thanks for the responses. I am a little interested as I feel I would notice even a small change in flex, however I need to get some days on my new DLPs first. Also I am in the US. Maybe if these are still around towards the end of the season we can talk.
