  • Shredfest 2025???

I see Shalk posted about Euroshredfest 2025. I guess I'll ask the question about North America Shredfest. Do we have a coordination for Shredfest in Tahoe (or elsewhere this year). Just thinking ahead before pass prices go through the roof and get some trips on my calendar. Would love to see everyone!

Hey Tim, sorry for the delay. The RVL8 crew will be out there from the 22-1st. typical meetup dates are the Monday-wed. Although, the turnout has been fairly limited the last few years as the OG ski boarders who introduced the event have stopped the official planning, and I candidly suck at planning.
Feel free to ring me if you have questions about the trip 6104204707

As a SoCalifornian, I'd volunteer to host the Tahoe Shredfest - -not able to do as good a job as Jack or Tom - -but last year didn't have much hosting. Guessing I can look at a calendar and find the Monday-Thursday - -and I could drive home thru Mammoth rather than down from Kirkwood and to L.A. I have stayed in South Lake at a motel near the Heavenly road to the California Lodge and the pizza place we met at a few years ago. I have the Epic Tahoe Value Pass with buddy tickets --never used em but think they work. Happy New Year to all - - ojbob69@gmail.com Also, If anyone has interest in Skiboarding Mt. Baldy or the pro jump and rail park at Mountain High West, open til 9pm pst on way up or back - -let me know. I don't drink much, allergic to chili peppers and tomatoes so no Testies --and usually I Skiboard alone - -so the Shredfest is a chance to Meet Up and Ride!!!

was on Big Foots, Cannons, Klimax Redline, 98 Line MNPs, Line ff cam and bomber bindings - new boards: RVL8 2015 SII, 2011 KTP --24 yrs non released - -skiboarding til 2050!!

I will be driving up later than planned and do not think I will make it to Kirkwood on Sunday, Feb 23 - - so will meet up and ride at Heavenly California Lodge Ticket Booth on Monday before 9 am

I will have 3 pair of skiboards with softboot bindings if anyone wants to try them out. RVL8 Playmaker SEI, Line MNP, RVL8 Rockered Condor

The weather is expected to rise to 48 by Wednesday. Windy on Monday with sun and clouds. All roads open and no snow expected until after March 4. KW had 31 inches in the last big dump mid-Febuary, and it should all be there with some soft stuff in the trees.

We had 12 Skiboarders at ShredFest 2025 on Day 1, and 6 on Day 2. I saw 4 at the Wood on Wednesday before I left at noon.

I was able to hand out many cards and most went to young snowboarders, some who used to ski. The others were to Seniors who saw my gear and knew their Ski boots hurt and weighed them down. I am lighter on my feet walking up and down stairs as well as better ankle fit in Snowboard boots. At 75, I won't ever wear Ski boots again.

I made a YouTube Playlist to record videos by hand.

            They can be seen at

Someone might put this link on the FB Skiboard Connection site - -I show the Line MNPs without the 3rd Strap and the RVL8 Playmakers SEI with rear entry System MTN bindings -

-All my boards have DPS Phantom applied to their bases.

Thanks to Mr. Patrolman, Dave Lynam for texts on the first 2 days at Heavenly and checking on me when I fell in a bald spot on the Ridge Run after hearing a loud

shout from behind = KTP and the Pros down from the Nevada side for the 2nd time in one day. I stayed on the Cali side all day. It was Clint Eastwood who said, "A man's got to know his

            limitations!!"
