We're planning the third annual meet in Colorado - The Skiboard Connection! You can also check this event out on Facebook.
Here's one of the awesome days we had last year. Check out all of the videos from last year to get an idea of the type of terrain we tend to look for.
We'll be riding mid-week to avoid the crowds. This is the perfect event for those looking to put their Epic Pass to use!
Riding dates and resorts
Monday, February 3 - Copper (Ikon)
Tuesday, February 4 - Vail (Epic)
Wednesday, February 5 - Breckenridge (Epic)
Thursday, February 6 - Vail (Epic)
Friday, February 7 - Keystone (Epic)
Passes and lift tickets
If you don't have an Epic pass, your best option at this point is likely the Vail 4-pack which gives you the flexibility of choosing any 4 Vail-owned resorts. This means we can switch up the schedule as needed to go where the best snow is falling.
Lodging options
The home base for this meet is the Silverthorne / Dillon area. This provides quick access to the highway, restaurants and shopping.
In previous years we've been able to find hotels for around $95 / night, but once snow starts falling those prices tend to go up pretty quickly.
Travel and transportation
I haven't figured out my travel details yet, but will update this post when I do. I'm probably going to try to fly in this year, so let me know if you plan to come and would like to car pool up the mountain from the airport and share a rental car.
Roll call
If you're interested in joining us, let us know! Feel free to join us for all or some of the days - whatever works best for your schedule.
Definitely!
