Great !! Look forward to seeing you and your wife. We have decided to keep the schedule the same this year as originally posted. So no shuttles to Northstar and Kirkwood but shared rides between shredfest attendees. You can still take shuttle which is daily from the casino area to Sierra at Tahoe on monday if you want to join us there.

Harvey 's is a good choice.

            Lockers?

I'm thinking logistics of getting with skiboots from the hotel especially with Sierra & Heavenly days. Carrying them loose is one option. Strapping them to backpack is another.

I'm pretty sure I can manage a day skiboarding without a pack, but if I bring a pack I need to store it somewhere. I need shoes to get to the base station I reckon, so I need to store them somewhere along with a possible pack.

            What are your suggestions?

Heavenly main lodge and Sierra do have lockers. But if I am at one of the Casino hotels such as Harveys the distance to the transit center shuttle location is close enough that I would just walk in my ski boots.

Get a pair of cat tracks to make walking a little easier.

I'm waiting for a job offer that will (hopefully) be coming in the next few days, once I get that I'll be dropping the $$ and booking everything. I'll be flying into Reno for sure, and likely staying at Harrah's.

I noticed Harrahs is full (via Booking.com at least). I would be interested to know how Montbleu & Hard Rock compare.

I think all the big casino hotels in the area like Harrahs, Harveys, Hardrock and Montbleu are similar in terms of accomdations and amenities.

I used the Caesars app to book my room , might had only been 240 total for a room Monday tru Friday.

I believe so , with the resort fees too.
I do have one of their cards they give out at their casinos though.
But if they are saying it’s sold out that week, I suggest a look there .
What I liked about it was there was something to do when skiing was over for the day, food was inside the hotel and casino too

I'm planning on heading out to Shredfest again this year. I haven't booked travel or hotel yet though...[I KNOW... NOT SMART]

I have a work trip that is going to bookend this trip so waiting till that solidifies and then I'll make reservation.
