2011 Creek-to-Creek Meet

It is time to cut the ribbon and make way for a new meet tradition. After the great success of last year's Creek-to-Creek Meet, peppered in with a little urban, it seems fitting to do it all over again.

Saturday, February 19 @ Bear Creek, PA and Sunday, February 20 @ Mountain Creek, NJ

With plenty of Long Islanders, southern New Yorkers, central and western Pennsylvanians, and all of you stragglers within reach, it would be ridiculous to miss out.

Just a heads up for those who have not been to Mountain Creek before. Arrive early so that you can get your park pass. They have the test online here. http://terrainpark.mountaincreek.com...ss.php?p=intro It's basic common sense. Take the test, print out the results, and bring it to them the morning you ride there and they will give you the little park pass to hang on your outerwear along with the day pass or triple play pass ($100 for three days for one rider as apposed to $65 for one day. If you're going to go back again this makes obvious sense.) This is all done at South, which is the face of the resort that is all terrain park. There are some small features on North, but typically the meets occur at South. Even if you just want to cruise and watch you can do so but will need the park pass.

My suggestion, everyone should get to South lodge on Sunday, February 20th at 9:00am, get your passes and such, and then roll up in a group. It looks great to have an entire group of skiboarders roll up on the lift together in one shot, especially grabbing first chairs. It makes your presence known.

I will post this meet up on The Junk Show facebook group once the details are hammered out for what spot and what time people will meet at Bear Creek. I am not familiar with that resort so Lynam or Talon will have to work those details out and post them on this thread.

oh man so dumb, like

if someone falls and is hurt do u...

a. go faster and zoom by them?
b. get really close to them and give them the thumbs up as u pass by?
c. help them

its just common sense and a waste of 5 mins but whatever its not that bad.

best thing to do if u gotta get it is get there 15 mins before 9, walk inside with shoes on, get the pass get ur lift ticket go back to the car, have a drink or smoke and suit up!

Sounds like a blast. Only if I can figure away to skip my family coming into for a baby shower (my first baby). Do not think that will go over well. Next time or perhaps another weekend maybe we can meet at one of the Creeks on Saturday.
