I hate the wind!!!!!!

Man I was supposed to go skiboarding today and I was all juiced up, then this morning when I wake up and get all my gear on, my friends calls me up saying "we're not going anymore, cause it's supposed to get really windy (around 50mph) and we don't wanna get stuck at the Mt. tonight". Yesterday it was all warm and dry out, then it just snowed nearly 10 inches overnight!!! It's still coming down too! All this fresh powder and I can't ride it. Damn you Michigan winds! I'm gonna go cry now

Ah man that sucks...I know your pain...that has happened to me so many times going to mammoth. Take the 6 hour drive and buy lift tickets and condo and then BAM!!! The winds kick up and its hell to try and ride and most lifts are shut down if not all. So that =A lot of wasted time,money. Therfore I always go at the end of february now. I go local for most of the major winter.
