I have yet to find a beer that does not instantly cause my tastebuds to revolt upon consumption. Despite the flak I tend to get from it, I'll stick with my mixed drinks. Call me girlly all you want, but I'll take a Capt'n'coke or a White Russian over beer any evening.

Did you hear, beer prices are going up because there is less hops and barley available to make the beer. Brooklyn Brewery said their hops/barley supply prices have gone up 70% in the past 3 months.

Many US farmers have gotten rid of their crops for corn to make ethanol fuel, and foreign farmers have been suffering, so lots of foreign beer companies have been buying up the US supply. The big beer manufacturers have exclusive contracts, so they won't be affected, but it's all the microbreweries that will get the biggest hit.

one of the bars here does free (yes I said free) PBR every thursday night...after you have one or two it tastes just like any other draft beer..but you definatly feel it the next day!
