Last, i went to japan to see these snow canyons in Aomori prefecture and ski at Mount Hakkoda. The recorded audio on the tour bus to the resort told us we where now entering the snow canyons, and there was 3 feet of snow on the ground... was one of the worst years for snowfall in Japan, fml.
