  • Banshee Bunjee

I don't know if anyone else has seen these but they are basically big bunjee cords with handles on them in order to get speed while urban skiing, skating or what ever on flat ground. Only problem is cheapest one is 150 bucks. Kinda much for a big rubberband. Anyone know some cool ideas for a homemade bunjess for under 50$?

I used to use trampoline elastic for something like this when I was younger. It was from a kids trampoline - adult ones have springs instead of elastic. Cost about £15 for a unwanted trampoline from a jumble sale.

Worked perfectly for months, and then randomly snapped and hit me in the face.

Lots of cheap ways to go, but I'm thinking there might be a reason the 'proper' version carries a bit of a price tag...

Looks kind of fun, however you manage it.

I have seen these before but it was for river boarding. I know that for river boarding before there were big companies making bungees the local kids would use climbing rope and a Garage door spring( the ones from the old wooden garage doors) and then anchor it to the side of the river. Im guessing you could do the same. Hope this helps
