  • Release bindings pre-releasing

Has anybody had release bindings pre-release or at least heard of stories?

all release bindings can pre release when you don't want them to ..
it all has to do with dialing the DIN settings right for your weight and the ability and the type of riding you do .
most of us who have used release bindings start at the recommended din setting for our age, weight and ability and then adjust them if we tend to pre release , understanding that as you raise the DIN settings you will have a greater potential of injury .. I always have to run my DIN settings a bit higher then recommended because I ride agressively and will pre release at lower settings.

Sure I have, but only when pushing way too hard I have also had them release exactly when they should, which is kind of more important.........

All release bindings can pre-release. It 's just a matter of setting your DIN weighing risk of pre-release vs. risk of not releasing when you need.
