  • FF pros screws bottoming out on new XLs

Not sure if anyone has encountered this but I can't get FF pros to mount correctly on the new XLs. The screws bottom out before it really puts any real pressure on the binding.
I was thinking of cutting up a bike tire perhaps. Any one have any advice

Are you using the rubber pads that go with the FF-Pros? If so and still bottoming out, maybe try some thin washers also.

This is the right answer. Try adding star washers, they crush easily. Or you can get shorter screws at a hardware store. The BluntXL are designed for powder so they are made with a thinner wood core so they are lighter and more flexible.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I do have the rubber pad and the screws we're just a hair long so I'll go the star washer route. I suppose the bomber bindings I have on my XLs have washers so I never ran into this before.
