  • Carry Spruce Sherpa Skiboards

What type of solution do folks on this forum use for carrying their Spruce Sherpa skiboards to and from the mountain? The binding breaks don't lock the skiboards together when slid together (with the Attack 11 bindings). Is there a certain bag, or perhaps velcro straps with a bag that works for you? Please let me know your solutions!

I have been through the search feature and have seen some solutions, but still interested in current solutions.

What applies to OSpreys will apply to Sherpas as well...

If they are only to be transported in the car
: Normal ski ties for fat skis which can be bought in many shops.

If they are to be carried up the hill, then on a backpack. Sometimes on the side straps of a Osprey Kestrel 32, on the side straps of a Lunch Lady Messiah or or the back straps of a Revel8 Monkey Backpack.

Here's a example of carrying Crossbows on the Messiah pack, but the same pack has carried Ospreys as well.

            Current: '20 Spruce Slingshot 119s, '20 Spruce Crossbow 115s, '18 Spruce Osprey 132s (touring), '21 Rvl8 SII 104s, '21 Summit Invertigos 118s
            Also: '11 Allz Elaila 94s, '12 Rvl8 Rockered Condor 110s, '15 Spruce Osprey 132s , '18 Spruce Crossbow 115s
Previous: Gaspo Hot Wax 84s, Mantrax 98s, Summit Nomad 99s, Spruce Yellow 120s, Eman Uprise 104s

Should also say, I love the backpack solution. I purchased a used Ortovox Haute Route 35L Backcountry Backpack. It arrived at the same time as my Sherpas. Unfortunately the Sherpas are too wide for the bottom straps and they are not adjustible.

With some slight streaching I was able to insert the Sherpa's into the Ortovox Haute Route 35L ski loops! Still looking forward to the other carry gear.
