I thought it would be fun to share my new gear.
I love my Blunts, but I've found myself wanting increased stability and predictability out of my snow sliding gear. I tried long skis for the first time in a few seasons and enjoyed them a lot, so I wanted to upgrade my boards as well as add some twin tips to the quiver.
Here's what I picked up:
Rvl8 Condor Skiboards - Traditional camber, 110cm, and wiiiiideee (130mm+ underfoot)
Elan Pinball Twin Tips Skis - Traditional camber with "jib rocker" (whatever that means), 165cm, ~80mm underfoot.
I've been able to test drive both in some of the interesting conditions we're seeing on the ice coast. I ride mostly park with a solid amount of all mountain riding mixed in there as well.
