Count me in! ive got a room booked Friday and Saturday night just down the road from the mountain. I'Ll be passing through the GTA friday morning (apr 4) and travelling 400 series highways up through ottawa. if anyone wants to make arrangements to carpool and/or share in accommodations PM me and we'll sort something out.
Sounds very tempting! I've never been on a weekend though, are the crowds totally nuts? I'd guess in April a little less so. I do have 6 discount coupons ($52+tx I think) but they are invalid on Saturdays.

SBruce and I where there two weeks ago on a Sunday and it wasn't bad at all, the few times the lines got too heavy we just went up the single line.
Cancelled my hotel booking. Going to Lake Placid instead. Have a great meet!
Whiteface - a real mountain for sure. There is some serious terrain there and some seriously challenging snow conditions at times. If you take photos or videos, please post some up. I haven't been there in 4 years. It kicked my butt snowboarding 4 years ago almost to the day, which is why I then took a 1 hour lesson the following day on a pair of 90cm Salomon blades with a 50+ year old South African instructor named Alex. Never snowboarded again. Never got back to Whiteface yet since but that is another story.

It's $40 for an all day pass on Sunday. I'm there Saturday night til Sunday morning. Ill be happy if I get down Wilmington Trail; everything else I ride there will be gravy. (Correction; ill be happy with just the view) I've had a stupendous year since fracturing my right tibia one year ago today; Skiing The Trail wi make my season.
So far there is still space in my hotel room... I'll keep a space open for ya, Bluewing. C'maaaaan!
I have not skied that trail but my friend who goes on a ski vacation every year at Whiteface says Wilmington Trail is very difficult - and it is only rated as a blue there. That trail is his nemesis - he goes from skiing it OK to barely surviving it - and he is a very good skier. Whiteface takes things to a whole other level. Have fun. Ride safe.
