  • TONS of Stuff for Sale - Boards, Bindings, Bags, Boots, etc.

Ok, so I've become a skiboard kleptomaniac, but after much consideration (and CO powder) I've decided to give a pair of shorter Revel8s a go, which would probably better suit my tiny frame. I just purchased some Tanshos (and deeluxes), so in order to pay for that, I'm selling off a ton of stuff that I cannot justify keeping. Note: Any prices listed do NOT include shipping. Also, if something sells, I will take it down.

    1) NEW 2008 Revel8 BWPs (now called Slapdashes) + GOLD Line FF pros, w/fresh hot wax, base grind, and edge tune (prefer to sell together for $350 or separately for best offers).
These have been sitting around for several years (wax stored, though). When I bought them, they arrived to me brand new with a few tiny chips in the top sheet (I count 1 on 1 board, 2 on the other), but this is probably to be expected with skiboards that have not been factory chamfered. Since this is the condition they came in brand new, I'm assuming this is normal, especially since I bought them with bindings, so they weren't in plastic wrap. I had a base grind, edge tune, and hot wax done at a ski shop (a $40 value). If your season is over, I will even put a coat of hot wax on the edges, plus a second coat on the bases, for storage, free of charge (just ask)!

The FF pros are not brand new, but they're in very good shape. They come with Line leashes, all hardware, riser pads, etc. I bought a blue pair of FF pros, and since I don't care about color, and I really only need one pair, I'm selling the gold ones.

    2) Line Transfer Skiboard Boots (yes, actual dedicated ski board boots, but appear similar to Deeluxes) - BEAUTIFUL Shape (if only they were in my size), Size: 29.5 mondo (I pulled out one of the liners and confirmed this). 8 step forward lean adjustment, in addition to walk mode. I bought some MNPs off of eBay to try out, and these came with them. They appear to only have been used a few times, as the seller said -- the liners even smell new! Yes, I wanted to make sure they didn't smell like feet. I can't tell whether they've been molded, but if they have, it was definitely only once, so they can be remolded. Made in Italy, which makes me think Dalbello manufactured them for line (the logo on the strap looks similar to my Dalbello ski boots, too). Seriously, if these were in my size, I would definitely be keeping them! Price: Best offer (keep in mind that these are, like, the only dedicated skiboard boots in existence, they're in excellent shape, and they're no longer made/pretty rare).

    3) Line padded skiboard bag - they hold 98 cm boards very comfortably (tried both BWPs and MNPs, and both fit just fine, with just the right amount of room to spare. I'm terrible at identifying fabrics, but they're lined with a really soft, slightly padded, absorbent and insulating material, which helps prevent rusting. In other words, the liner will absorb some of the melting snow, so that the edges won't be sitting in water on the way home from the slopes. I know this for a fact because I have owned and currently own several of these Line skiboard bags, and I love them. The outside is made of a very durable material (maybe canvas or something a little thicker? again, I don't know my fabrics). It has a nice velcro handle, so that the straps can be carried as one handle or as 2 separate straps. This is another item that I would love to keep, but I have several of these bags, and I don't really NEED a million ski board bags, but I DO need money for grad school tuition, rent, to make up for the ski boards and boots that I just bought, etc. Again, they no longer make these bags, but they're quality products. This one is in great shape, with only 2 very small tears in one side (we're talking, like, a few mm long -- can easily be sewn, and if I could sew, they would already be fixed); it's very clean, too. I can add exact measurements, but I can't find my measuring tape at the moment. Given the fit of the 98 cm boards, I would guess that it's about 105 cm long (MAYBE 110, at most). Price: $25.

    4) Line FF ORIGINAL Freeflex Bindings, EXTREMELY GOOD SHAPE (pretty close to 'Like New') w/Leashes - Again, I'm only selling these because they are just too similar to the Line FF Pros, and I'm only letting myself keep ONE pair of those. These are all metal and MUCH nicer than the FF Cams. The toe bail/clip appears to be very wide and fit nicely over boots (looks to be the same toe bail width and design as the FF Pro), providing for a very secure connection, unlike some of the less expensive bindings (there is no wear to the part of the toe bail that fits against the lip of the boot, on either binding). Has fine 'teeth' for precise adjustment (the teeth also have next to no wear). Hardware, leashes, and risers/pads are in great shape, too. As suggested, all original hardware, rubber risers/pads, and leashes are included. I don't think I've seen a pair of used bindings in better shape than these. Price: Best offer (again, considering that these are in excellent shape, pretty rare -- I've seen more FF Pros and FF cams, and are of excellent quality, design, and construction).

    5) Snowjam Extreme II Bindings w/Leashes -- Excellent Condition, Close to 'Like New.' These bindings get rave reviews, but I'm only allowing myself to keep 2 pairs of bindings: my Bomber Elite 2s and my blue FF Pros, so I won't even let myself try these, or I'd probably want to keep them, too! I like that in addition to fine adjustment, the different sole lengths are actually marked on the sides, so there's no 'guess and check' needed with adjustment, making it extremely quick. They're also pretty lightweight, but are all metal. They come with the original rubber riser pads, all original hardware, and leashes. Price: Best offer (definitely would need to be over $50, though, since they retail for over twice that amount and are in excellent, 'hardly used' shape).

    6) Line Jedis, 90 cm, '99 model, Great Shape, Freshly Tuned and Hot Waxed - Took these out for a run, and while they did fine in deep CO powder and were a lot of fun, my 82 cm Grooves perform about the same, and since I'm trying the 90 cm tanshos, I can't justify keeping these. Bases have no gauges, core shots, or repairs -- they're in great shape. Topsheets have a few tiny nicks/chips, as with all used boards, but they're also in great shape. Edges are in great shape, too. Price: Best reasonable offer.

    7) Line MNP 98 cm skiboards ('99/'00 model) - Topsheets have chips that have been filled with some sort of resin, but bases are beautiful (edges, too). Price: Best offer.

Stay tuned -- more stuff to come, for sure, although I need to decide what, specifically, to sell. Likely possibilities include: a set of Line MNPs, 98 cm (riding them this evening, and if they're too long for me, given my size, they'll be for sale), another Line skiboard bag, some Dalbello Electra women's boots (molded only once, super feet insoles, ridden less than 20 times, extremely comfy and warm liners, Size 25.5), and possibly some other nice boards, too -- I need to finish go through my collection, but I'll add stuff as I do.
