Chapel Hill to Sugar Mountain and back Wed the 27th

I'm heading to Sugar Mountain on Wednesday the 27th and wanted to know if anyone wanted to join me... either for the road trip or just meet on the mountain. I'll be leaving about 6-6:30 in the morning. I plan to ski 10AM till mid-afternoon and then drive back. I consider myself an advanced beginner or intermediate. I can ski anything at Sugar but I haven't started skiing backwards. Skiboards are new to me, I've only used them once... but I liked them so much I bought some Spruce 120's and can't wait to try them... and since it's supposed to snow 6-10" at Sugar, I was just there a couple of weeks ago, it's cheap, it just makes sense for me.

I'm a pretty easy going guy without any hangups or destructive habits. I'm a pretty good photographer also. If you're interested in riding or meeting up, it'd be cool. I'd like to see how other people ride their skiboards. I have 1 friend that is very good that got me into it.. but he can't make it this trip.

They've had 10" of snow at Sugar.. and it's still snowing. Tomorrow should RULE.

Just to close the loop... The 27th was an incredible day for skiing... perfect powder, it was still snowing.. they'd had over a foot on the mountain. I'm glad they stayed open... lots of other slopes were closed so there were a good number of people out.. but no long lines. Lots of skill out there too. Nice day. I had no issues, just enjoyed the slope all day.. until I went back to my car.. slipped on the ice and got my boot toe right into my ribs... Still healing from that..

I recently watched an edit from those mtns in NC. I would be down to check them out next season for sure. (South Atlantic Junk Show tour)
