Ha, ha ... that's Corona Arch outside Moab Utah. I was there last summer ... never thought about rope swinging off the top but some people were rappelling off of it while we were there.

Looks like fun, but I am pretty sure that is far from the biggest. Dan Osman did huge ones until he died when his ropes crossed and one cut through the other.
I do it because I can.
I can because I want to.
I want to because you said I couldn't.

Woo hoo. That's right near me. Never even saw people doing that stuff over there. Right on. Lots of good arches out there to work it up to something that burly.

OK ... I am definitely in if we can set it up. I am planning a return to southern Utah this summer for a mancation. I wanna do 2 full weeks... hitting Moab, Capital Reef, Bryce and Zion again. Camping the whole trip. I wanna do some hiking, climbing, whitewater, offroading, etc.... and of course mountainbiking the Moab slickrock since I did not get a chance last year. Also, I gotta spend at least 2 days down in Canyonlands in the maze district. I ran out of time to do that last year.

I only have 2 other guys confirmed to go for sure - I'm working on 2 more. Would love it if we could set up some more ... even for just a few days here and there.

Anyone who is interested is welcome to join.

You know the second I saw the video you came flying into my mind Dave!!! LOL.

Y'all can have all that.....watching that video was giving me chills, I'm so scared of heights it's not funny. Can barely jump off of a high dive (what a freaking wimp).

That would be such a blast up until the moment I smacked into the side like a roadrunner cartoon.
