  • Summer Climb Alpine Meadows 7/3/2017

Ending our season today with a climb up Alpine Meadows ski area that closed on May 14th . Here with my buddies, Michael ( on Icelantic scouts) and Billy on Hagan 130s. Hot weather has caused the bottom of the mountain to lose snow so the first part of the climb is carrying our skis. I really like that I can climb in snowboard boots rather than in ski boots.

We finally reach the snow and I get ready to climb on my Rockered Condors ... DSCN0343

Looking back toward the base from where we started our climb ..

      What a great day.
When does it usually start filling back in with snow?
