Does anyone have any tips for getting through mogul fields on shorts? Normal ski technique usually involves fairly heavy use of poles to trigger short turns... but we don' need no steenkin' poles (do we?).

the one tip given to me by a far more experienced skiboarder was: dont go over the tops.
it sounds kinda stupid, but the more experience i get, i find it's not so stupid (just really really obvious). skiboards turn fast, so it's easy to look down a run and plan your route weaving between the bumps.
i also find that if you're heading one way and can't make a quick turn, it's pretty easy to just go backwards for a bit.
