thanks for adding the "not all these tricks have been done yet" note on unity, savannah, and cabs.
i've been working on unity. i think i can get it, just need to spend more time. it's so much more precise to do than on skates lol.
if you do it like skates, you stick. if you lean back more so you don't stick, you slideout.. i have a feeling i'm getting close though... i'll work on it tonight on ice & snow (since my resort is too crappy to have a park). i think i just figured out the proper positioning. we'll see i cant wait! anyway, peace.
yea nice job it's a great list. I was learning about tricks on a terrible site with terrible tricks. What would make it even better is a sample of the trick in video form. Now that would be orgasmic!
sweet! Im glad it turned out ok....
there might be so slight glitches in the grinds still
but I'll check it out some other day and will tell you
if there's stuff to change! =p
keep it up!!!
soul plates coming up to rock the tricks off!!!
oh and I'll try to do some basic pictures of the tricks if
possible.... =)
yeah, there may be glitches still. particularly on stuff such as torque soul and pornstar. i think porn would do perfect if you had two souls, cuz you'd slide on the soul rather than the edge. cab drivers might be possible on two souls... can't possibly see how they'd slide on the edges. it's tech enough on skates.
don't count unity out yet, i think i've figured it out. I can slide it a couple feet before stopping on slush goin slow. i only tried it a couple times, but the body positioning seems to physically work. i think it'd slide a whole lot better on ice, a box, or rail.
the main problem about pornstars is the fact that most
riders have 99 cm skiboards and damn its quite hard to
do a pornstar with these....crossing your legs is quite
risky because of the length.
shorter skiboards like yours feel more like skates on such
grinds. so its possible but for a limited number of riders.
just like trying to do 270 boardslides on longboards instead of skateboards... like trying to do alleyoop topsoul on roller hockey skates instead of aggro rollerblades.
freestyle frames made for street, h-block frames made for general riding. big wheels made for speed, skatepark, and gaps. little wheels made for technical stuff. downhill trucks made for control, freestyle trucks made for grinding.
skiboardings the same as everything else. short boards for technical stuff, long boards for big stuff.
do you mean slightly leaning on the downhill edge or all your weight on the downhill edge? do you sit on it or do you stand on it... just some curious questions because torques are one of those tricks that have a lot of variance. glad to hear you're doin em.
when you define "land" unity, do you mean literally landing it or sliding on it balanced for 6 + feet? or does it stick/slide out? how are you positioning your weight? just curious once again, not tryin to interrogate you haha.
